In this course I had used the feedback given to me throughout to improve my writing and visual assignments. With the revisions given to me I had learnt that I have to go over my work to make sure my explanations are clear and concise, and do not get too lengthy by making sure it is not a rewording of the book. I have learnt how to write a proper thesis statement by making sure that it demonstrates the why? and the how? of a specific topic. I have improved my presenting skills greatly compared to last year, by learning that it is very important to come prepared to present, even if it means creating a few cue cards to help remember key points. I have also increased my knowledge on presentation techniques that keep the audience involved, and help to pace myself during the presentation. I have learnt the importance of peer editing, as peers tend to catch the mistakes that you don't see in your own writing. I have learnt the importance of having good communication with a teacher, as it also helps organize your time management, and improve your work by confirming the required standards to be met on the rubric for an assignment.
